When I first read Traction, it felt like the missing link between the wisdom of Stephen Covey and Jim Collins — both of whom have shaped how I’ve led and coached for over 30 years. EOS resonated deeply because I’ve always been a systems thinker who sees organisations holistically. Its simplicity and power to create clarity and accountability drew me in immediately.
Before becoming a Professional EOS Implementer, I co-founded a San Francisco start-up backed by Intel and Microsoft that grew to over 1,000 people and floated on NASDAQ for $2.3 billion. I later led operations for the UK’s first public Wi-Fi network, The Cloud, and co-founded TheGivingMachine, a charity that’s given over £2.5 million to good causes. Implementing EOS within that charity transformed how we operated and proved firsthand the impact of the system.
Across both commercial and social ventures, I’ve seen how purpose-driven leadership transforms not only results but the energy of teams. I love watching entrepreneurs and their teams find clarity, align around a shared vision, and rediscover the joy of working together and winning together.
My approach is calm, curious, and grounded in experience — including plenty of ventures that didn’t go to plan. Those lessons, along with my passion for technology, science, and community, help me bring both humanity and practicality and often a bit of a laugh into every session.
