No More Endless Meetings — Here’s the Secret Sauce
We’ve all sat through that meeting—the one that meanders, goes long, and ends with no clear decisions or next steps. By the time it’s over, everyone’s frustrated, behind on their day, and a little less confident in the team. I see this all the time with leadership teams before they tighten things up with EOS. The problem isn’t just “bad meetings.” It’s what they slowly erode: Clarity: Priorities get fuzzy and goals drift. Accountability: To-dos disappear into the ether. Trust: People start doubting follow-through and each other. That’s why I love the EOS Level 10 Meeting. It’s a simple, 90-minute weekly rhythm with a clear agenda: Quick check-in to connect as humans Scorecard + Rocks so everyone knows what matters now Headlines + To-Dos to keep a pulse and drive follow-through IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve) so you spend most of your time actually solving real issues Done well, Level 10s
How Do I Choose an EOS Implementer in Denver?
Choose an EOS Implementer on five things: verify they are listed in the EOS Worldwide directory, ask about their real operating experience, test for cultural fit, watch how they facilitate, and use the free 90-minute meeting as a working interview. There are often people who were former Integrators or worked in a company running on EOS, but EOS Implementer undergo full-day quarterly trainings and are held accountable for running EOS as designed. It’s a labor of love to ensure you receive the experience. I am a Certified EOS Implementer® based in Denver, Colorado, and co-author of Process!, the official EOS book on the Process Component. Industry does not matter. Fit and facilitation do. I work with leadership teams across Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, and the Front Range, and I also offer virtual sessions. A Seat Issue + Drama Triangle = Leadership Danger Zone
©2025 Kenneth C. DeWitt – All Rights Reserved. Prepared for EOS Worldwide Blog Submission As EOS Implementers, we see this over and over again. A leadership team knows they have a Right Person Right Seat (RPRS) issue. They nod in agreement. They even score the People Analyzer honestly. Yet when it comes time to act, they hesitate. It’s usually someone who’s been around for years—a loyal long-timer, a family member, or a “good human” who’s simply no longer a fit. Sometimes it’s a hiring mistake we’re reluctant to admit. Sound familiar? Why We Rationalize, Delay & Avoid the Tough Call I’ve been there myself more times than I care to count. We rationalize, delay, and end up choosing the first two of the Four T’s from the world of risk management: Tolerate, Transfer, Treat, or Terminate. In EOS, we coach teams to use the People Analyzer and GWC (Get It,
