Tyler Wackman

I grew up in a multi-generational family-owned manufacturing business in Houston—my family’s steel packaging company making 55-gallon drums and pails. I studied accounting and finance with every intention of starting at the shipping dock and working my way up to eventually lead the company alongside my brothers.

Then my father passed away from a heart attack during my senior year. That loss forced the sale of the business to take care of my mother and other stakeholders—and it changed the trajectory of my life completely.

That forced pivot led to a 17-year career investing in and operating small to medium- sized businesses. I ran three companies, and experienced firsthand what it means to hit a ceiling. I was exhausted, trying everything to get unstuck.

Then I was introduced to EOS. Implementing it transformed my team’s focus and accountability, changed our growth trajectory, and ultimately led to a strategic acquisition with a 4x return on invested capital.

Reflecting on that experience, I thought about the thousands of other business owners navigating critical transitions—whether they’ve just  acquired a business, are managing family succession, or have hit a growth ceiling like I did. They need more than theory.

Now I help privately-held business owners navigate those same transitions. Drawing from my experience as both operator and investor, plus that successful exit, I bring the proven structure and tools that transform overwhelmed leadership into confident, scalable execution.

I know what it’s like to lose a family legacy, to bet on yourself when forced to pivot, to lead before you’re ready, and to break through when you’re stuck.
