My entrepreneurial journey began as co-owner of a family business with my father. What an honor and privilege to have built a business with the man I truly consider my hero! Though the business grew over a decade, there were many bumps, challenges and lessons learned along the way. Most recently, I worked as part of the senior leadership team of a local family-owned business based in Birmingham, Alabama, where the third generation family was beginning to move into leadership. This new generation of leadership was eager to exponentially grow the business at a rapid pace, which brought about cross-functional challenges. To help us better achieve our goals and gain operational efficiencies, we began working with a professional implementer and fully embraced EOS as our operating system. This truly transformed the business, helping us achieve our 10-year growth plan in under 5 years!
More personally, for 20-plus years I have volunteered through my church, providing business coaching to micro-enterprise business start-ups, as well as purpose-driven businesses globally. Helping entrepreneurial leaders is my passion and why I am proud to share my own EOS experience with others.
