Phil is a tested entrepreneurial leader, founder, and investor who understands the challenges of building a thriving, sustainable business — because he’s lived them himself.
His first major leadership role arrived the hard way. When the founder fired the company president, Phil took the reins of a 175-person company that had no operating system, no clearly defined roles, and no shared vision of where it was headed. The result? Six years of hard-won lessons — and plenty of frustration.
Years later, as CEO of a 50-person professional services firm, Phil discovered the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®) and saw firsthand how a simple, proven system brings clarity and traction to a company. He’s since held key leadership roles in three companies running on EOS, and he knows the control and freedom it gives owners and their leadership teams.
Today, Phil brings decades of cross-functional experience across finance, operations, and business development — plus years of consulting and mentoring entrepreneurial companies — to his work as a Certified EOS Implementer. He helps leadership teams get what they want from their business: a clear vision everyone shares, the discipline to execute quarter after quarter, and a healthier, more accountable team.
As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), Phil also helps owners build with the future in mind — because the same disciplines that make a business run well are the ones that make it more valuable and more transferable, whenever “what’s next” arrives.
Having sat in the owner’s chair himself, Phil coaches from experience, not theory. His passion is helping other leaders realize their vision, gain traction, and build a business — and a life — they love.
A note on chemistry: you’ll spend real time in a room with your Implementer, so it should be someone you genuinely enjoy working with. Phil takes the work seriously and himself a good deal less so — clients describe him as warm, direct, and refreshingly human. Growth is hard enough; the sessions should be something you look forward to.
