I’m a first-generation business owner. While I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit I had no idea what I was getting into 15 years ago! I started my first company in 2008. I initially succeeded despite my lack of knowledge and experience for several years until I hit the ceiling. At 10 years in, I realized that I had become a slave to my own creation. I was sacrificing all of my time, my relationships with family and friends, and my health for a business that was barely profitable and hardly growing. About that time I received an important email. That email mentioned EOS and I was intrigued. I picked up a copy of Traction, and soon bought two more copies for the others on my leadership team and we promptly made the decision to work with an implementer to assist us with our implementation of EOS. After 5 years of running on EOS, the company has been completely transformed. The two best outcomes are: 1) We created a company that people truly and genuinely love being part of. 2) I can now focus more time on doing things that I’m most passionate about – one of which, is sharing EOS with leadership teams to set them free to get everything they want out of their business.
