Michelle Owens grew up in an entrepreneurial family in Iowa, learning the ins and outs of retail, professional and construction-related business. She’s owned multiple professional services businesses and has led and trained in companies ranging from start-up to big tech. She was the CEO of a national design firm and a business partner for multiple Chief Officers of a $4B aviation business including Finance, IT, Legal and Human Resources.
Michelle has found a real knack in translating her business and people skills into tangible solutions for small business. This was amplified when she led a company that implemented EOS. She was fascinated from day one because, based on her experience, no business is immune to the frustrations in running the day-to-day. Ultimately, she says, “people are the only real driver for success and competitive differentiation. Pay attention to that and you will absolutely create value and change lives. It doesn’t get any better than that!”
Now, Michelle has an opportunity to truly make a difference, helping to grow Iowa business (an average of 15% per year) and create a positive ripple effect. She’s realized her passion over the last 5+ years as a Certified EOS Implementer® and avid supporter of leaders. “In honor of my mom and as the mother of 3 daughters, I’m also on a mission to help women aspire to be fearless in their dreams.”
Michelle lives in Cedar Rapids with her significant other, Randy, and supports 2 surrounding markets. She spends 75% of her time in her Cedar Rapids EOS session room and travels a 2-hour radius from their Clear Lake home the remainder of the time. She holds a masters degree in business and focuses her EOS practice in the services fields- professional; financial; technical; retail & services-minded manufacturing.
