My journey began on the water—as a youth sailing coach, teaching kids how to harness the wind and waves. Guiding them toward independence sparked something in me, and that coaching instinct has fueled my purpose ever since.
In 2008, I took a leap of faith during turbulent economic times and launched a sailboat manufacturing company in China. It was a bold move, filled with challenges. But through grit, the business grew rapidly and became the market leader for small sailboats in the U.S. That experience taught me what it means to lead through uncertainty—and win.
Most recently, I’ve been running a Payroll/HR services company. We hit the ceiling. I was wearing too many hats, and growth had stalled. That’s when I turned to EOS®. Implementing EOS helped us face some hard truths and build a stronger foundation. More importantly, it gave me the freedom to return to my strength: coaching people. The business—and our team—have thrived ever since.
