I’m Mark Accomando, an entrepreneur, investor, and EOS Implementer based on Long Island. I bring a unique perspective shaped by both sides of the table as an operator who scaled and sold a family business and as an investor who has backed visionary founders and learned what truly drives success.
I started Heartland Ventures, a venture capital firm built to connect early-stage technology companies with privately held businesses. For seven years I partnered with founders and leadership teams across the country, helping them grow with discipline, alignment, and purpose. Before that, I ran and sold my family’s travel business to private equity, which gave me a firsthand understanding of what it takes to build and transition a company.
Today I work with ambitious business owners and capital allocators who are preparing for growth, M&A, or succession. Through EOS, I help them simplify how they run their business, align their teams, and create clarity that lasts.
I am a former college football player, a lifelong competitor, and a proud husband and father of two boys. Everything I do is focused on helping leaders build businesses that endure and lives they are proud of.
