I never realized I was an entrepreneur till one day when my mother was t-boned in a car accident and broke her neck. We knew nothing about Social Security, senior care, powers of attorney, or dementia. My wife and I quickly realized we weren’t the only ones and that many families were not prepared to help their loved ones as they progressed into their 70s and 80s. We saw a need and opened free a service for seniors and their families to help them navigate the complexities of getting older. After six years and helping over 2500 seniors and families, we were purchased by a VC firm.
Before that, much of my life was focused on teaching, guiding, and coaching. I was a high school teacher, which I loved, and the Principal for discipline and attendance, which I did not love! I was also a business coach focusing on leadership development and change management.
Now I am excited to use my skills as a teacher, business coach, and business owner to guide my clients through their EOS journey!
