In 1950, my Memaw worked at a flower shop at 18 years old. Soon after, my Grandaddy signed off on a $3,500 loan to buy the business. At 93, she and my mother still work there every day, doing what they love.
With Memaw being one of many entrepreneurs in my family, I grew up surrounded by creativity, drive, and heart. That kind of all-gas-no-brakes energy builds great things, and can also be unpredictably exhausting.
