After leading businesses — both domestic and international — in diverse industries such as finance, consumer products, and technology, I learned that applying my experience and passion to help others can change lives — not only professional lives, but personal lives, too.
In Minneapolis, I sat in the driver’s seat, struggling with tough challenges in a $100 million business. With the leadership team, I made the call to implement EOS fully at all levels of the 700+ person company. It worked and we worked! The benefits: quicker, crisper decisions on strategy and tactics; smarter people choices — hiring, managing, and sometimes firing; clearer goals, both long- and short-term; transparent and consistent accountability; and so much more.
When the company sold and my wife and I moved to Houston to be closer to family, I decided to help other entrepreneurs find the same powerful benefits we experienced in Minneapolis. My original intent? To be an EOS implementer for a couple of years and then get another “real” job. Well, after 11 years, over 110 clients, and 1,200 full-day sessions coaching aspiring business leaders, I found my “real” job — to awake every day and know that, in some measure, I can make a positive, meaningful, and lasting difference for people who themselves want to make a difference has become my passion. That’s it. That’s what I do. These good people trust me to help them see their horizons more clearly and to learn how to guide their businesses at a faster pace and on a more direct path to those horizons.
