I’ve always loved business. You know the neighborhood kid selling stuff on a table in his yard? That was me. Instead of lemonade for the neighborhood parents I sold candy to their kids. Much better margins and I moved a lot more product
I started my career in IT. After 9 years I found an opportunity to start my own IT consulting business.
As we got bigger I found my heart wasn’t in it and began to struggle. I found that I didn’t love IT anymore, the soullessness of big corporate clients or “running” a business. I did love building business and coaching my clients and employees. We wound down the business and I became committed to loving my work.
I’ve been working with small business owners since. While I wanted to share the fundamental insights that I had learned, people really just wanted to know what to do. 10 years ago a friend introduced me to the book Traction and I could tell instantly that it was really what my customers were looking for and it was consistent with the fundamentals I had learned.
Now I work with leadership teams implementing EOS. I have worked with 45 different companies and love what I do, respect my clients and adore the transformational journey.
