I grew up surrounded by family businesses, witnessing firsthand the highs and lows, shifting market tides, and the challenges of passing leadership to the next generation. Those early experiences shaped my appreciation for both the human and practical sides of guiding organizations through change.
In my own career, as CEO steering a statewide nonprofit through a pandemic and multiple crises, or as a senior leader at a national university, I’ve led with earnestness, compassion, and a deep belief in collaboration. I’ve raised hundreds of millions, managed mergers, directed strategic planning, and helped teams weather complex challenges. No matter how tough things get, I strive to bring clarity, calm, and strong relationships to the heart of every solution.
Today, I bring 30 plus years of hands-on experience helping both mission-driven and for-profit organizations chart new paths for growth and lasting success. I know what leaders face because I’ve sat in their chairs—from the boardroom to the classroom, and everywhere in between.
