Since childhood, I’ve seen the thrill and the heartbreak of owning a business. My family ran everything from gas stations to car dealerships. But when my grandfather’s dealership failed in 1979, it changed him—and it changed me. That loss lit a lifelong fire to help entrepreneurs avoid that same kind of pain.
After serving in the Navy, I built my career the old-fashioned way—through grit and results. I climbed from the front lines of retail to President and COO of a Birmingham-based holding company overseeing six operating businesses. I’ve lived the long nights, the people problems, and the pressure of making payroll.
At one point, I hit a wall. One of our companies was stuck—smart people, solid product, zero traction. Out of desperation (and my wife’s good instincts), I hired an EOS Implementer named Ken, who introduced us to EOS®. What happened next changed everything. Within months, we had clarity, accountability, and momentum. Within a year, every one of our companies was running on EOS—and thriving.
Today, after 32 years in leadership and 16 as a CEO, I’m all in on one mission: helping entrepreneurs get unstuck and get what they want from their business.
