Last night my phone rang with a call I never saw coming.
Jon Fox, a fellow EOS Worldwide Implementer, called with a surprise. A leadership team he met called me their grail Implementer, the one they would pick if they could pick anyone. They wanted Fight Less, Win More, AI, and EOS taught in the same room.
Then came the catch. They were not going to fly their whole team to New York, and they never asked if I would travel to them.
The answer would have been no anyway. I work out of the Batcave, the room I built in Manhattan specifically for this work. Period.
So Jon gets the client.
Most people keep a call like that to themselves. Jon called me first.
So I made Jon an offer: One free hour on the phone with the client, Jon and me together, coaching them on negotiation, AI, and EOS, with Jon leading the core EOS work.
Then I invited him to breakfast at Nougatine on Central Park West, my favorite way to give a guest a taste of real New York.
I feel zero need to compete with another Implementer. Better Implementers lift the whole community, and every client gets a better shot at winning.
Jon’s call was “Help First” in action.
Breakfast on Central Park West is how “We Win as a Team” shows up in real life.
When did a competitor last hand you a win?
Stay curious,
