Eddie Russ activates leaders. A lifelong teacher and coach, Eddie finds joy in helping others maximize their success and live with purpose.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Eddie spent thirteen years in education as a high school English teacher, varsity basketball and soccer coach, Dean of Students, and Director of Athletics in San Francisco and Austin. In 2007, driven by a passion for leadership and growth, he launched the Soccer Shots franchises in Austin and San Antonio.
Like many entrepreneurs, Eddie learned through trial and error—until 2015, when he discovered Traction and the Entrepreneurial Operating System. Implementing EOS transformed his business and his life. Under his leadership, Soccer Shots Austin became one of the top-grossing territories in the country and an 8-time “Best of Austin” winner (Austin Chronicle). Before exiting the company in 2025, Eddie and his team impacted thousands of children, coaches, and parents through the beautiful game of soccer.
Today, as a Certified EOS Implementer, Eddie helps leadership teams clarify their vision, build healthy accountability, strengthen communication, and gain traction—so they can achieve meaningful results and truly live their purpose.
