I grew up in a family of small-business owners, so entrepreneurship has been in my blood for as long as I can remember. E.g. at 11 years old, I was building and selling computers from salvaged parts and running ads in the classifieds and transacting over weekends. I didn’t know it then, but that was the start of a lifelong obsession with building things, solving problems, and creating opportunity.
My wife and I came to the United States through a software startup based in Seattle. While building our life here, I earned my IT degree and later my MBA; because like many first-generation entrepreneurs, I believed more learning would unlock more clarity.
It helped…but only up to a point.
Eventually, I stepped out of corporate and started a consulting business with my wife. And that’s when I discovered the truth every business owner learns eventually:
Just like boxing, no book, degree, or plan prepares you for the first punch in the face of entrepreneurship.
We hit every frustration EOS describes – people issues, lack of control, stalled growth, profit that evaporated as fast as we earned it, and the constant feeling of hitting ceilings. The business was growing, but the chaos and strain were growing right alongside it.
Then a mentor introduced us to Traction.
We started implementing the EOS Tools – simple, practical, no-fluff – and everything started to fall into place. The noise calmed. The team aligned. We broke ceilings. We got our lives back. It was transformational in every way.
We eventually grew the company, scaled it, and led it to a successful exit. But afterward, something unexpected happened:
I realized the fulfillment wasn’t in my own success – it was in helping other owners get theirs.
That’s my “why” for EOS.
I’ve lived the frustrations personally. I know what it feels like when your business controls you instead of the other way around. And I know how powerful it is when a team finally gets aligned, healthy, and disciplined.
Today, I work primarily with trades, blue-collar companies, field-service organizations, and family-owned businesses – the kinds of businesses that built me, shaped me, and feel like home. These are gritty, hardworking, and sometimes messy, teams who care deeply about their people and their reputation, and who deserve systems that support the lives they want…not steal from them.
I bring a blend of lived experience, calm accountability, honest conversations, and simple tools to help owners get control, gain clarity, and build businesses they’re actually proud to run.
Helping entrepreneurs break ceilings, without losing themselves or their families in the process, is why I do this work.
