I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and earned a Division I football scholarship—an experience that shaped how I think about leadership, accountability, and performance. While competition mattered, what left the greatest impression on me were my coaches and their ability to establish standards, shape culture, and drive consistent execution. That foundation has guided my work ever since.
After college, I spent more than a decade building one of the most successful personal training businesses in the Twin Cities metro and later opened my own gym. Leading teams, serving demanding clients, and navigating rapid growth reinforced a simple truth: results don’t come from motivation alone—they come from clarity, structure, and disciplined follow-through. When the COVID-19 pandemic forced my gym to close just nine months after opening—at the same time my wife temporarily closed her salon—I gained firsthand experience leading through uncertainty and pressure.
It was during that period that I discovered EOS.
What became immediately clear was that my background had uniquely prepared me for this role. Football taught me how elite teams operate—clear vision, defined roles, measurable outcomes, and uncompromising accountability. Building and running a business taught me how to apply those principles in the real world, where complexity, people, and execution collide.
Today, as a Certified EOS Implementer, I help organizations to bring structure to complexity. I help leadership teams gain clarity, strengthen accountability, and build the operating discipline required to execute consistently—quarter after quarter. My coaching has evolved from the weight room to the boardroom, but the objective remains the same: build healthy, high-performing teams that deliver results.
