I’m Carlo Buenaflor, President and CEO of Biggs, one of the largest regional restaurant brands in the Philippines. For more than two decades, I’ve experienced the realities of leading and growing a business—building teams, opening multiple locations, making difficult decisions, and carrying the responsibility that often rests heavily on an owner.
In 2022, our leadership team began implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS®). It gave us greater clarity, stronger accountability, better alignment, and a more disciplined way to execute. As our team grew stronger, the business became healthier, more scalable, and less dependent on me.
Today, I continue to lead Biggs while living in Spain with my family. That experience has reinforced my belief that a great business should not depend on the owner being present every day. It should run on a strong leadership team and a proven operating system.
Having experienced that transformation firsthand, I became an EOS Implementer to help other founder-led and family-owned businesses build stronger teams, gain traction, and create businesses that give their owners greater confidence, freedom, and choice—in work and life.
