I remember realizing that I had become the bottleneck in my business. I sought entrepreneurship to gain freedom, but felt trapped. I was involved in every decision, reacting when my small leadership team pulled in opposite directions, and cancelling plans to fight daily fires. I was exhausted by the business I had once loved.
One night, I found a copy of Traction in the airport. With each chapter, I was more energized by the simplicity, clarity, and focus of EOS. It was relatable for my entire team. We hired an Implementer and committed to doing the deep work to get our business healthy and smart. When we ran on EOS, revenue, profit, and team member satisfaction multiplied. I was finally able to sleep at night and take a real vacation. When we didn’t follow the system, our business and our personal lives suffered immediately.
Now, I pour everything I’ve got into coaching small business leadership teams to implement EOS. It’s a joy to help other entrepreneurs and leaders fall in love with their businesses and live the life they’ve dreamed of.
