📙 My background is…
I started my first small business at the age of 11 – a lawn mowing venture on the southside of Brisbane. Lots of lessons learnt that stuck with me, but this really sparked my love for the great game of business.
I went on to spend 25 years at a large privately-owned business, starting out in customer service and rising all the way up through the ranks, seeing what makes a business tick. As part of our acquisition strategy, I had the opportunity to look ‘under the hood’ of hundreds of small/medium businesses, seeing the good, bad and the ugly. It was the ugly that stuck with me, and I realised that most business owners were in pain – growing pains, lack of growth, people issues, no processes.
This inspired me to jump the fence to help solve these challenges. I searched the world for a system that could help owners get a grip on their business, and found everything I was looking for in EOS®.
