I’m a seasoned entrepreneur and Professional EOS Implementer® with more than four decades of experience spanning food manufacturing, hospitality, and business leadership.
At just 24, I founded North Coast Processing, which became the nation’s leading private-label salad dressing and sauce manufacturer. I grew the company to $50 million in revenue before selling it at age 39 to TreeHouse Foods, a Fortune 500 company. I remained with TreeHouse for nearly a decade, leading large-scale operations and strategic initiatives, including running a $500 million business unit, major CapEx projects, and acquisition/integration work.
Returning to my entrepreneurial roots, I founded Red Letter Hospitality, known for its acclaimed restaurants Cork 1794 in Erie, Pennsylvania, and The Skunk & Goat Tavern in North East, Pennsylvania. In 2020, I expanded again with the acquisition of HRI Commercial Kitchens, a regional leader in commercial kitchen design, equipment, and service.
As a Professional EOS Implementer®, I bring a rare combination of entrepreneurial grit and corporate discipline. My real-world experience–starting, scaling, acquiring, and selling businesses–allows me to guide leadership teams with empathy and credibility. I help business owners gain clarity, accountability, and traction through the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS), empowering them to achieve results and build stronger organizations.
I also serve as Chairman of the North East Community Foundation, which manages nearly $20 million in assets supporting local nonprofits.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, especially spending time in the Wyoming mountains, hiking, and other outdoor adventures with my wife, four adult children, and three grandchildren. My blend of experience, insight, and passion for people makes me a trusted partner for leaders ready to grow their businesses with purpose and confidence.
