I’m Bill Duguay — former CEO of a 100% ESOP construction company with multi-state operations that included concrete/precast plants, marine facilities, and quarries. Real pressure. Lots of moving parts, competing priorities, and high-stakes risk. I’ve led everything from small rip-and-read jobs to high-profile design-build projects and joint ventures with ENR Top 10 partners — where leadership alignment, safety, and execution are everything.
I help construction, ESOP, and industrial/manufacturing organizations have the tough conversations — the ones that make or break you — and start leading together. That means support in the boardroom, alignment all the way to the front lines, and confidence from sureties, banks, insurers, and major clients — stakeholders invested in your ability to price, plan, and execute. Again. And again.
I started out laboring on small jobs, where every minute felt like a lot was on the line — wins earned one project at a time. Those roots stayed with me and help me connect just as well with the team in the field as I do with owners and boards.
And yes — resoling my Redwings is still a badge of honor. They show time spent where the real work happens, and they’re still in the truck.
I honed my leadership approach at top U.S. business schools and combine that with straight-talking, field-tested execution — so accountability sticks, performance improves, and the business becomes easier to run and harder to beat.
If you’re ready to build leaders at every level — owners in every seat — and scale your company without breaking it, whether that’s local, regional, or national, I’m all in.
