At the age of 30, the death of my father thrust me into the leadership role a financial services company with 25 employees. I was a financial advisor and lawyer that couldn’t spell CEO.
I knew we needed a strategy and over time I adopted various culture-building and vision-crafting processes but consistently hit temporary revenue ceilings and felt my team lacked cohesive vision, consistent traction and a healthy leadership culture. It was a struggle.
Through sheer force of will, my team 7Xed revenues and profits.
After a successful exit, I looked back and concluded that the time I spent duck-taping together a strategic approach cost us dearly with respect to valuation and the psychological impact of a stressful leadership team dynamic.
In my role at another firm, we implemented EOS to amazing effect, driving revenues and efficiency skyward. It’s simple tools are proven to convert an organization’s horsepower into traction.
I believe in it so much I became a Professional EOS Implementer to manifest my mission of assisting in the creation of abundance for owners and employees of entrepreneurial businesses.
