About

For years, I accepted that building great businesses came with a cost, strain on leaders, teams, and families. Turns out, that’s not a business strategy. It’s just suffering.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

From first-revenue startups to publicly traded enterprises, I’ve led four companies (a startup and three turnarounds) and acquired and managed portfolios of 20+ businesses, across a diverse mix of industries, giving me pattern recognition that narrow specialists simply don’t have. I’ve spent more than two decades as both an operator and a private equity operating partner. I’ve sat on both sides of the table as a buyer and a seller, which means I know what the deal looks like in the pitch deck, and what it actually looks like at 7am on a Tuesday when the real work begins.

That experience shapes everything I do. Whether you’re a founder building toward an exit, a PE-backed company scaling for growth, or a long-term capital investor who just wants the business to run like it should, I’ve been in your seat. And I know how hard that seat is.

At my core, I believe a business is only as strong as its people. Over my career, I’ve coached and mentored 20+ CEOs and leadership teams to drive growth, improve margins, and build organizations that are healthier, more aligned, and frankly, more fun to work in.

The turning point for me came through an acquisition that introduced me to EOS. When I read Traction, something clicked. It was the operating system I didn’t know I was missing. After bringing in an Implementer, we generated more clarity and momentum in 90 days than we had in the prior year, and people were genuinely happier. It transformed the business. It changed my life.

Today, I’m based in Colorado Springs and work with growth-oriented, clear-eyed leaders who are done leaving results, and people, on the table.
